Toward the end of my Master's in May 2023, I decided to plan a celebratory graduation bike tour from Umeå to meet up with old friends in Aarhus, Denmark. After graduating, I set out on this tour using a part of Eurovelo's Route 7 (Sun Route) and by recording my path on GPX form. Like before, upon completion, I made a map of this adventure.
Soon after starting my Master's in GIS at Umeå University, I discovered a fascinating art form: breathing new life into historical maps by using Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) and lifting up the landscape.
Before starting my Master's journey in GIS in 2022, I went on my first long-distance bicycle journey and toured through most of the Italian peninsula with my partner. Then I decided to make a map of the journey using the GPX files of the route.
